The LW 8.8 Orquidea is an entry-level padel racket built with a strong emphasis on control. Its high rebound and excellent ball output make it an ideal option for players starting out, helping them improve their consistency and confidence quickly.

Materials

The racket is constructed with a bi-directional carbon and fiberglass tubular frame. It features a 38mm low-density EVA core, laminated with layers of fiberglass fabric for a comfortable, responsive feel. The heart is reinforced with carbon fiber fabric, infused with Varlion’s exclusive VAR-FLEX epoxy resin, and finished with a titanium dioxide coating to enhance durability.

Shape

This model incorporates Varlion’s exclusive LW shape, a hybrid design combining the precision of a round shape with the versatility of a teardrop shape. It delivers a control-focused performance with approximately 60% control and 40% power, offering accuracy without sacrificing attacking potential.

Ergoholes Technology

The progressive Ergoholes drilling pattern reduces air resistance, resulting in a cleaner and more consistent strike. It also expands the sweet spot, improves swing efficiency, and enhances overall structural consistency throughout the racket.

Handlesafety Technology

Handlesafety is an advanced safety system integrated into the handle. Unlike traditional designs where the wrist strap passes through a single central hole, this system secures the strap through both sides of the handle. This minimises the risk of detachment during play, improving safety while also providing added comfort at the wrist.
